Jinks explains Blue September is a campaign to raise awareness cancer in men, and plays an interview with John Casey, Broken Hill Cancer Patient who is offering support to other people. Casey explains he had been having the PSA Blood test which picked up his prostate cancer, which led to a radical prostatectomy in the Royal Adelaide Hospital. He says it's common for women to discuss their reproductive health, but men don't and he says that needs to change. Casey discusses his recovery from the prostatectomy, and also describes the effects of radiotreatment and chemotherapy. He says there are three great ladies at the hospital who can provide support and accommodation in Adelaide while receiving treatment, and says a lot of support is available.
