Interview with Mark Holden, Spokesperson, Blue September, talking about Blue September. He talks about working with Blue September and experience cancer himself. He talks about the reason for joining Blue September - his father, the typical World War II man who died of prostate cancer because never discussed it. He says since age 40, he has had prostate checks annually. He says he now does this every September in line with Fathers Day. He says men do not feel comfortable talking about these kinds of issues but this part of what Blue September is about. He says he lost his best friend last year who he did have these conversations with. He says his friend was not interested. He says he has had colonoscopies despite it not being unpleasant. He says his mother who is 84 and has lived over 20 years alone. He says in every conversation with his mother, she would always mention how much she misses her husband. Duncan says her friend is in hospital in North Sydney for a colonoscopy due to this campaign.
