Herald Sun - Corser rushing to catch up with son

DOTING dad Rodger Corser is so "rushed" off his feet he has hardly had time to bond with new son, Budd.

The Rush star and his wife, Renae Berry, had their First child, Budd Kenlie Fredrick Corser, on August 19. "He is with us and it is all good," Corser said at the Blue September event on Wednesday. "Life is good, it is hectic. Jam at work a lot, so when I finish filming Rush I will probably get to know him a lot better."

The joy of parenthood is even more profound for the couple after Berry battled and beat cancer, but believed she might never have been able to have children.

"She (Renae) is over the moon. Parenthood is an amazing gift and we are both very thankful we could be parents together," Corser said. Budd is Corser and Berry's first child. Corser has a daughter, Zipporah, aka Zippy, 7, with his former partner, singer Christine Arm.
