METRO AND CARLTON FOOTBALL CLUB TEAM UP TO 
SUPPORT BLUE SEPTEMBER!

Saturday 3rd September Carlton VS St Kilda is set for the big round 24
clash! With an expected crowd of over 75,000 spectators, many of whom
will be travelling by Metro to get to the game.
 

Blue September is delighted to have the campaign message, ‘face up’ to
cancer in men present at Richmond and Jolimont stations for all the fans
to get involved with the cause.

Blue September will be handing out information flyers, rattling donation tins and painting people Blue. Travellers on Metro will even hear Blue September facts and health messages announced over the loudspeaker of the trains!
 

“The stigma previously with guys and previous generations was to stay away from your doctor but I think that things are slowly changing, hopefully, some guys still have a long way to go. I’ve had a history of a few health issues in my family, so I’m constantly encouraging members of my family to go get their health checked.” (Andrew Carrazzo – Carlton Footballer)
