Bodie is doing a brilliant job getting colleagues and companies onboard to help raise funds for Blue September. As part of this, he is running two fundraising lunches with raffles tickets and his colleague Brian will be speaking about his current cancer battle.

Bodie Foster’s efforts have seen no end with him sending out invitations to businesses across Perth and wider regional WA trying to get donations for the Sand Gropers (their fundraising group), or for them to run their own awareness days at their places of work.
So far, Australian Quarantine and Inspection Services, Western Australian Police Force and the Western Australian State Quarantine Inspection Service have joined up and donated money, with some running awareness programs. Bodie is continuing to send out more and more invites on a daily basis despite his busy work schedule.
Brian is the main reason that he is pushing this wonderful cause. He is a very crucial part of their team and he was the gentleman that initially trained Bodie in what he knows today.
Brian is loved by all the staff at Australian Quarantine and Inspection Services (AQIS) and the personal, emotional and physical effects of this terrible disease have been made aware to colleagues and to Bodie. As a result it has hit home very hard in their office about the effects of cancer and the effects it has on your friends and most importantly your family.
Bodie has been doing a fantastic job to raise money and create the attention this campaign deserves and has been a supportive friend and colleague to Brian.
