HOW TO ENTER
To enter persons 16 years and over must donate online at www.blueseptemberfundraising.com.au.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
- Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. A person accepts these conditions of entry by their conduct of performing the entry requirements.
- The Promotion commences at 9am on 26th August 2011 until 5pm 30 September 2011 AEST ('Promotional Period').
- Entry is open to all Australian residents 16 years and over during the Promotional Period. Employees of the Promoter, MWC Media for Blue September, their agencies associated with this promotion and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
- All donations received via www.blueseptemberfundraising.com.au will be wholly donated to The Big Health Foundation Limited who will distribute funds for cancer research to its two beneficiaries The Australian Cancer Research and Bowel CancerAustralia. None of the monies collected will be kept by the Promoter or Co-ordinator and the holiday prize will be funded by the Promoter.
- To enter the promotion, the entrant must make the highest individual online fundraiser. The highest individual fundraiser (not direct from a corporation), will win a five night holiday for two persons at theNapaValleyinCalifornia’s wine region.
- Judges decision is based on the online fundraising page and who wins is calculated by the fundraisers who donate the largest amount at one time. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- To enter the promotion online, eligible entrants must, during the promotional period, complete in full in the required manner (what you consider to be a generous donation) and submit the online entry form at www.blueseptemberfundraising.com.au. Eligible entrants will be required to provide all mandatory information required for the promotion they enter in order to complete their entry. Such information may include their name, address, current and valid email address and telephone number.
- Eligible fundraisers may donate their largest amount on only one occasion to be considered as the highest fundraiser. Any subsequent entry after the first valid entry received from an entrant will be deemed invalid, although the donation will still be credited. Only online donations will be deemed to be accepted at the time of receipt and not at the time of transmission. Incomplete, inaccurate, erroneous, ineligible or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. Entries must be received by the Promoter during the promotional period for a chance to win the holiday.
- The ‘Winner’ will be awarded a five night stay at Villagio Inn & Spa, which is located on the 23-acre Vintage Estate. This is for TWO persons at theNapaValley inCalifornia’s wine region. The prize will include the flights and accommodation for five nights. Return flights will depart from the winner’s closest Australian capital city toSan Francisco but does not include school holiday bookings. Once deemed the ‘Winner’, the ‘Winner’ has to inform the promoter (MWC Media) of their chosen travel dates, excluding school holidays.
- The winner will be notified via phone and email on 3rd October 2011. The winner’s name will also be published on www.blueseptember.org on 4th October 2011 and printed in the Australian on the 6th October 2011.
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. If a winner is under the age of 18 years, the holiday will be awarded to the second highest individual fundraiser.
- In the event that the ‘winner’ is unable to collect the prize, a secondary judgement will take place on 5 January 2012 at the Promoter’s office, 131AChapel St, Prahran VIC 3181.
- If in the event that the prize is not available, for reasons beyond the control of the Promoter, a prize of similar theme and value will be provided.
- All entrants including the winner agrees that the Promoter and Organiser may use the name, address and photograph for promotional, marketing or publicity purposes, unless otherwise advised. The Promoter may also forward the submitted photograph on to third parties as they see fit for promotional purposes.
- The Promoter and Co-ordinator, their related bodies corporate, their officers, employees and agents shall not be liable for and shall be held harmless from any loss, damage, or injury whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or sustained by the entrant, as a result of the promotion or arising from the acceptance and use of the holiday by a winner, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
- The Promoter and Co-ordinator will not be liable as result of any act, omission, failure or delay not reasonably within their control, which may cause the Promoter to fail to run the promotion or fulfil its obligations under these terms. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify or suspend the promotion.
- The Promoter will hold the personal information the entrant provides through this promotion; so they can be contacted if they are a holiday winner. If the entrant consents, it may also be disclosed to the Promoter's employees, related companies and agents for the provision of marketing services and to help keep you informed of the products and services offered by the Promoter (by direct mail or electronic messages). Entrants' personal information may be disclosed to the State lottery department and winners names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation.
